Memorial for my late father. Feels like you've been gone longer than you were here. Wish we'd got to know each other better but you know what they say, like father like daughter!! Miss you, you old bugger:o)
A sporting man without a doubt
Golf, racing, football, he followed the lot
Could chat about any subject you choose
A sporting man, he liked the booze
Gin and tonic, I do remember
Bennett & Sinatra last December
A sporting man, always had a view
Sunday mornings, putting through mist and dew.
Every horse the old sport picked
Never seemed to clear the ditch
Carry on he did, to place his stake
The win it came, one day too late.
A sporting man ‘till the day he died
With the lovely Pat stood by his side
To the nineteenth hole in the sky

15 years ago today you left us Dad and took Mum with you, she's just an empty shell now. Miss you both so much xxx
A rose once grew
where all could see,
sheltered beside
a garden wall,
And as the days passed
swiftly by,
it spread its branches, straight and tall...

God saw you were getting tired

Even though it's been 12 years now, I still think about you every day. Wish we'd have got along better but I still miss you very much x
